Have you considered adding some more, hmm, design to it? Like making it look a little bit like a castle tower (or a tower chess piece), or at least rounding off one corner, to break the symmetry, etc.? Even a simple brick pattern could improve the looks greatly.

the final design will be much more designed :) these were just the protective enclosures for testing fit
