Great idea! Would a CR servo turn it quick enough to look like it's animated or would a DC motor with pwm control be better suited for that kind of shenanigan?

been meaning to get some tiny little translucent grayscale LCD displays running for some sort of projection... They were 5 for $2, so I couldn't pass 'em up! Something like this'd be a good use for 'em.
