Re Program a onboard chip for Light Show Christmas trees?
Looking for any ideas on how to take control of these RGB systems to incorporate to LOR system. The fantail bare wires are the set that goes to each satellite tree. Just looking for any ideas of IF the chips that control the "show" can be made to follow a LOR program? Thanks

I would have to agree with Dave. Could you reverse engineer the driver circuits and use something common for control as Dave suggests?

I don't think that those blobs will be programmable :( If you would replace them with something known, you would have to find out next how the Light-O-Rama protocols are like. From the look of their page and prices I don't think they will be open for that.
