1 | × | Arduino I used an Adafruit Boarduino but any Arduino compatible board should work. The Pro Trinket might also be a good choice. |
1 | × | I2C LCD and buttons kit I used an Adafruit I2C LCD and Buttons kit which only requires 2 data wires plus power and ground |
1 | × | I2C RTC i used a Tiny RTC sourced from Amazon. Beware that they have shipped non-rechargeable 2032 batteries in the board which a charging circuit. My battery was leaking after powered for 5 days. A 3.6V LIR2032 is what is required.. In the picture I used discrete parts and a DC-DC buck supply to power the battery backup side. The Tiny RTC was used instead when the part arrived. |
1 | × | RC Servo I used a small RC servo. Make sure it has a servo horn so you have something to hotglue the dump cup to. |
1 | × | Dump Cup I used something I found in a box of old kitchen tools. But something like a small laundry scoop should work. |
