Steampunk Backpack

I'm starting wth a Tyco "NSECT" RC robot bug as the base. It looks like this to start:

So far, I've ripped all the internal parts out, leaving just this:

And now it's been painted in flat black, ready for a fresh coat of paint.

I'm currently designing a set of gears/tubes/whatever to go under the wings, and protrude out the side ports.
