After years of tightening and loosening the bezel clamp screw, the plastic bit that grips the bezel and keeps it from rotating cracked from fatigue. Without this plastic bit, the otherwise perfectly fine pair of dial calipers couldn't be used without upsetting the instrument's zeroing.

So I designed and printed a replacement plastic bit (that yellow brown piece) which, dare I say, conforms and grips better than the original L-shaped piece of plastic.

Certainly beats spending $80 for a new pair!
