World Maker Faire in NYC!
07/13/2015 at 14:55 • 0 commentsHello all, we were just invited to the World Maker Faire in NYC. This will unfortunately make us unable to attend the Milwaukee Maker Faire as they are on the same days.
Here is a list of the Maker Faires we will be attending in September and October.
Orlando Maker Faire, Atlanta Maker Faire and World Maker Faire NYC.
We are still waiting to see if we get an invite for the Pittsburgh Maker Faire and Maryland Maker Faire. This will complete our Maker Faire schedule for 2015. -

New Feeders and other updates
07/08/2015 at 19:43 • 0 commentsWe've updated the design of our feeders. These new feeders are about half the size as they previously were, and are still capable of holding full sized reels. We also fixed communication between the feeders. We are so close! We hope to have a video of the PnP placing an entire board in the new few days. Fingers crossed for good weather, and no other unforeseen delays!

Delays
07/08/2015 at 19:40 • 0 commentsWe have fallen behind on our estimated schedule due to weather. Weather has plagued us for the past three weeks with power outages. We are inches from the finish line, but we've had such bad weather these last inches seem like miles. We are back on track now, and hope to continue to have valuable updates moving forward.

New model
06/29/2015 at 17:33 • 0 commentsSo much had to change when we got our new model built. It was like we had to start from scratch. Sorry it's been taking longer than expected, but we are almost done!

CV Breakthrough!
06/18/2015 at 12:01 • 0 commentsWe've had a breakthrough in our computer vision software. We had been using a template matching system. This new CV we have developed is much more accurate, and is not influenced by things such as changes in light. We are very excited about the applications for this alone!
Back onto the Pick and Place. We are currently finishing up our first few production models, and I am excited to finally get pictures of them out in the world. They are so much prettier than our garage model prototype (I still love the prototype it looks so Steve Wozniak in the garage. Hence garage model)

First Production Units!
06/15/2015 at 15:03 • 0 commentsHey everyone! Just got back from Washington DC at the National Maker Faire. We got our first production units in, so it's time to do a timed build! We will see how many man hours goes into building a unit this week, and come up with a firm cost for the product. The production unit looks a lot sexier with drag chains to hide the cables and enclosures to hide the electronics. Keep checking back as things are going to start moving fast again!
