Oops, turns out the 7.2V RC Batteries aren't as great as I thought...
So I'm changing to a nice big 12AH gell-cell
Note: I found stripping out the PCB from a 12V mains inverter work a treat for the supply and can be adjusted up 320V AC.

It works and is now battery powered using two 7.2V RC Battery NiMH. Now looking for a portable small smoke source. Yes I could use a smoke machine but it's not very portable. Smoke in a can is only available from the UK and the supplier will not ship to Australia? Vortex cannons don't need smoke but it does look good if you can.
