Thermoelectric and solar generator

Description

This device is really useful on places without electricity. It's able to generate electricity from a solar panel during the day or fire (campfire, gas stove, etc.) during the night. It contains battery and USB output, so you can charge your phone or GPS anytime.

I'm working on a pretty much identical project. What are you planning to use for DC-DC conversion and charge control?

Also, there's the possibility of collaborating on this. We could each build our own prototypes and then compare the results and work on new designs together over the internet.
