The reason behind

A long long time ago, I had an iPod touch, until the day it met its maker... Now I had an alarm radio with 30 pin iPod Conectivity and nothing to connect to. The simple route was to simply connect the Bluetooth dongle to the iPod dock and call it the day... but that would be ugly and ready to break any time. So took the dock apart, took the dongle apart, and find a way to put it inside the dock.

Break open the dongle

Break open the dock connector, unscrewing the base:

Remove the dock connector board, and now is time to open the dock, removing the side panels, the top control panel and the indicated screws:
