FabScan Pi - 3D Laser Scanner

This result of a FabScan 3D Scan consists of two single scans.

Here is an example which was created with the current software. Meshing and stitching of the pointlcouds was made with CloudCompare.

There is a new software release available. It fixes a lot of major bugs and brings support for multiple lasers. 

Additionally i added a temperature watch service which will inform the user about hight temperatures of the Raspberry Pi. There is a proof of concept for adding active cooling to the FabScanPi.

On 1th of april 2017 there will be the first FabScanPi workshop. It will take place at Watterott Electronics. They wil perform the first "Watterott Workshop Day". Be part of it and sign on fot the FabSccanPi workshop now! The Workshop includes a full FabScan Pi Kit and a build guidance.

There will be an autocalibration feature in the next FabScanPi software release. The picture shows a fast scan result in poor quality. Made after the autocalibration was processed.
