Download the 1Sheeld App on your smart phone. The app is available through the 1Sheeld website:
-
12Step 12
Run the App on your smartphone. It should request to scan for the 1Sheeld. Click the scan button. If you have successfully connected, the previously blinking blue light will turn solid blue and a green and orange light will start to blink:
Common reasons for issues with connectivety include:
1. Bluetooth not enabled on phone
2. UART switch remains in "upload mode"
-
13Step 13
Once connected, seek and click the "Voice Recognizer" shield inside of the app. Tap it once to enable it. Then click the shield logo at the top right corner of the app. This should bring you to a screen with a button that allows you to "Tap to Speak".

14Step 14
This is it! You should now be able to turn on the LED by clicking the button and then saying "on". You should then be able to push the button again and turn of the light by saying "off".
Just imagine what else can now be done with this amazing shield! You can now literally control so many devices with simple voice commands.
