Oh man, all the Mastermind I played as a kid only had four peg holes. Five! Totally nuts!
Beautiful project. The LEDs look great. How does the interface work for each player?
This is a Polish edition of Mastermind, sold by the Krajowa Agencja Wydawnicza (National Publishing Agency) back when Poland was the Polish People's Republic. Could not find anything about it in the Internet, so I cannot provide more details.
For now, it's a single-player game: the microcontroller randomly generates the combination and provides hints. The guesses are input using a rotary encoder: rotation changes the current color, clicking accepts the color and moves the selection to the next one.
Cool design. Can you put up a video of the system in action?
Happily; but I'll have to do this later, I'm currently on a leave abroad and unfortunately I do not have access to my workshop and my projects I left at home.
