Since the Tesla Model S is the most advanced electric car on the market, it was a great challenge to reverse engineer it's crown jewel - the 310kW, 590Nm single speed drivetrain. To manage that, I'm using my UMC Drive - a motor controller I've originally developed for Chevy Volt and Toyota Prius inverters.

I just found your blog. I am trying to hack and use an electric smart car drivetrain in my 1974 Saab Sonett electric conversion. I would love to talk with you sometime about your work.
Awesome work Michal! I'm so proud to see the F28069M LaunchPad being used this way (I designed it ;-) ).
Keep up the good work! I can't join the project because I work at TI, but if you need anything follow me on twitter and I'll DM you my email address. @yertnamreg
I was just pondering over the idea/feasibility of swapping a P85D drivetrain into a 1939 pickup that I am building. I'll be watching, FYI your video is set to private and is not viewable through the HAD embed.
