A variation on the classic CMOY design. This one uses significatly more power filtration and a higher end opamp. It also runs at 18v for increased headroom. Its currently a work in progress with changes on the way. The PCB will be designed to fit into an altoids tin being locked in place by the mounting hardware of the pot and switch.
The source files for the PCB have been posted to Github, you can get there by the link on the left. The PCB files might be incomplete because I had some second thoughts about the design, I will be updating this in the future when I get more time to put into it, expect the next update to be finished with a possible prototype fabricated.
Hey This looks great, are you still developing? I've wanted to do this .... with the bass boost setup... and perhaps a linkwits crossfees with bypass switch. Any interest in adding that to this project?
Hey, I've got a few audio things on the backbrurner and some upcoming free time, I was hoping to finish those and this. Do you have the circuit in mind for the bass boost feature? It would not be hard for me to design the PCB to support more features but also include pads to bypass them if one doesn't want them. Message me schematics and we can talk. Cheers!
Yet another CMOY, but nice to see one that's actually different! Looking forward to seeing the schematic for it... looks like a lot of caps for filtering.
Yeah, I kinda went a little crazy with the filtering but I had seen it done before on a random forum, thought I'd give it a try using SMD Panasonic VS series caps. When I get it to a state that I like I'll put the design files on Github along with a PDF containing schematics and board prints.
