Hiro 450mm Quadcopter Build

I participated in demos and combat Friday and Sunday at Maker Faire. I destroyed the 32 propellers I brought and about another 20 provided. My craft did not rank but I had a lot of fun in the arena with the other pilots.

I'll be at Maker Faire trying to keep my drone up during the combat events on Saturday and Sunday. Hopefully I have enough propellers for two days of crashing :|

I killed the old KK board and replaced it with a LUX flight controller featuring the STM32F303RCT6 processor.

Everything is direct soldered so its a bit lighter than the previous build.

I started to tune the PIDs over the weekend. It feels pretty good after a couple packs.

I've stripped this multicopter to use the components for a Y6 frame capable of carrying a small gimbal and camera.

I'll probably start a new project for that frame when the two additional motors arrive.
