POISED captures images using one laser, and in real time another laser
renders those images; it is a laser scanner - a device which precisely and
immediately extracts and reflects two separate laser beams in order to
create two distinct raster scans. One of these is an input scan. It
generates a pattern of light projected in front of it. This raster scan
area contains an attached circuit which measures the amount of reflected
light off subjects within the scan area and directs it to the second laser.
This second laser generates a second raster scan, which creates an image
based on the information collected from the circuit. In the final version
of this project, I will create five of these devices and engineer a
rotating platform to enable panoramic image capture and display. I will
upgrade these devices with high wattage laser diodes of various wavelengths
and POISED will display multiple-colored and architectural scale unique
laser projections of moving images.

Cambridge Tech Galvos
found a pair of galvos on eBay from 1981 with an analog driver- hacked the driver- as there was no info on the circuit given its age, and am driving the galvos with an arduino. running through the circuit, but having some difficulty syncing them to the scanner (above component).

Arduino
One to sync the galvos to the scanner (rising edge divide to get 60fps). Another to instantly interpret PMT input
