The best way to find problems with a device is to use it !!!!

This is where you find essential things like having the device start in the last used state is really important.

At the moment the settings are all sent from the APP when the APP starts. It can be really annoying using this device

as a USB interface and have to start an app to get to the default gain or routing settings etc

I think I need to think about having the user settings stored in the Micro flash memory so It can just start in the *last used state* without

even needing to start the app.

Also , maybe some control should work over USB midi. not really sure about that though.

I am working on a flexible monitor routing matrix which is nearly done. this allows any of the USB output 8 audio channels from the DAW to be routed to any outputs of BBBOX audio drivers ( headphones balanced line outputs etc eas3 etc ) 

The SD card media cannot be mounted from the MAC / PC , seams unlikely it will ever happen since the SD card is controlled by the M7 cortex and not the XMOS. not necessarily impossible but sounds difficult. It would probably be easier to just add another USB socket from the micro for this purpose. or just take the card out and put it in a card reader!!!

sometimes I think this project would have been better just running with a proper OS like raspberry PI linux etc but that would require quite a lot more power and this is meant to be a low power device.
