This project began with an idea for taking a leap on the development of Haiku, an open-source operating system that specifically targets personal computing. Inspired by BeOS, Haiku is fast, simple to use, easy to learn and yet very powerful. We need a hardware system that take advantage from contemporary technologies and meets the requirements of a modern desktop system that satisfies common uses at different situations.
