There was still the mistake with the not working blank input in the last version. And I did not like that. Specially if looking for testing Tindie with this. So I did some rework on the PCB layout. Now I do think I did fixed that issue. Additional I did change the layout in a way to be inside more Manufacturer's specs. In rev1 I use 5mil Traces/Spaces with 12mil drills. No it is 6Mil/16mil with 13mil drills nad is now again producable by OSHpark (with was important for me to get cheaper and faster Prototypes in low quantity - 1,55$/3PCBs ). To get that I did throw out some unnecessary components and changed the mosfet package to SOT-723. Boards are ordered and should be arrive soon. Here are some renders:

How could it be awesomer ? :-D

Thanks. ...mh maybe RBG would be awesomer or a total overkill.

total overkill is awesome! Now I want RGB ones!

I don't think a RGB version is useful...

@davedarko the PIC doesn't have enough pins for that, in the current system...

and now guess what I did with eagle yesterday... a RGB version is ~20% ready. But there is still a major porblem: PCB Space!

When this gets to a showable result I will publish it in a extra project.

@Yann Guidon / YGDES. A RGB Version would be a total redesign with different Controller.
After a first look PIC16F1512 or PIC16F723A do look suitable. The RGB
feature is not realy usable if using the TIL311 style interface, but if
controlling it via i2c and/or UART additional color information could be
sent.
And yes a RBG version would be total overkill and in most cases not  so usefull. But beside that it could be fun to build it.

It's your idea, just do what you like :-)

But I keep liking your implementation and wish I had some dozens for my prototypes ;-)

@Yann Guidon / YGDES - sometimes it's not about being useful :)
