Problem:
Well, Am from India. And, Hardware community isn't evolved as much here than, in other parts of the world.
I mean suppose while designing circuit, you choose particular IC, then you have to check whether the same IC is available in your nearest market. Another option is to order from outside the India. And if you find here, great, but still you have to pay way more. One simply cannot afford this while in prototyping.
Really-really Short Story:
It happens like that, For one of my Environment monitoring project, I needed SHT2x / Si70xx type sensor to be included in my design.
And it's really cool that both of the sensors are same size, shape, pin compatible.
Thanks to Silicon Labs, I ordered free sample of such sensor, and they arrived within a week.
Meanwhile, I had to do find way to mount this sensor chip, so I decided to design breakout board by myself.
Solution:
I designed Footprint for the device in EAGLE PCB, I couldn't find one.
I also want to use DIPtrace PCB design tool, so I choose it use here.
PCB designing is done in DipTrace.
Result:
This wasn't a tough design, I mean, How hard it will be to design PCB having circuit with just
-Two pullup Resistors
-One Cap
-4-Pin header
-Sensor footprint.
Work of an hour.

SHT21 looks pin/layout compatible, it's in the same price range (for single units @Farnell) and has a bit higher accuracy
