The PCB for this project is single sided, then I've decided to make it home.

After silver bath.

After assembly

some defects were found and corrected.

And now the circuit is working fine!

And here is a video

And now compared with #AT26-Chuck , another Through Hole project for #The Square Inch Project

Thanks Mike. I like doing PCBs at home using toner transfer. With some care you can get thin tracks as 10 mils specially with small boards (That was not the case though).

I've been really interested in etching boards. I've got a mill now, and it's possible to get some really nice results, but the small endmills are very delicate and the V bits don't tend to give as clean of a cut as I'd like. I'm sure it'll just take a little fine tuning. That being said, I enjoy seeing boards made using either technique, gives me the warm fuzzies!
