Robocup Tennis ball launcher

As a way to alleviate my dogs boredom while i'm at work i'm attempting to mod a tiny (inexpensive) ball launcher for apartment life.

Description

This will be one of my first projects so all feedback and suggestions are welcome. My plan is to first modify the launcher to throw the ball a min 6 feet than build a case around so all he has to do is put the ball in the top and it will launch again. Wish me luck!
