Here is the assembled frame.

To hold my Moiré pattern I use an aluminium frame made out of Fischertechnik.

I can fold it, so it fit into my bag.

Tadaa, folded :)

To stick the pattern to the aluminium I use closespins, but I want to upgrade to some 3D printed magnetic holders.

I only used the gas of the igniter this time, you can clearly see the difference.

I added a new display type, just press 'e' to use it. It will erode and dilate the output a few times to close holes and amplify the effect.

You can use it for weak effects like gas from an igniter.

It may looks strange but it amplify the output fine, a video will follow soon :)

Here are different grid sizes I tried. I ended up using the seccond coarest one. The spacing is 0.33 mm

Just made a quick comparison video, of a torch, recorded with the Moiré pattern and then also the difference to the reference image.

Sadly the lightning wasn´t that great, so it didn´t turn out that good, but its okay.

Schlieren on the left, normal Image on the right.

You can hardly see the air density change on the right, with the calculations and rework done on the left, a little bit better.
