Description

Build a variable power supply as cheaply as possible using an ATX power supply and off the shelf step-up/step-down transformers and an ATX breakout board. Boards are affixed to ATX PSU metal casing via motherboard standoffs after drilling holes.

Connect power supply ATX cable to ATX breakout board

Connect a terminal block on the ATX breakout board with 2 wires to the buck module IN terminal block

Connect a terminal block on the ATX breakout board with 2 wires to the boost module IN terminal block
