I think the Rpi camera doesn't have a parallel port (MIPI/CSI only) not sure though, check the datasheet.

Would be possible to implement it in a STM32F4DISCOVERY?
In combination with a STM32F4DIS-BB and a 1.3 MP camera (STM32F4DIS-CAM).

Yes I don't see why not, but you will need to remap pins and the sensor doesn't look like it has JPEG.

Thank you for the support :) but I don't think this is the best way to go about it, I will need to import components/PCBs, assemble them and then ship them out again, if that's even possible, it will cost a lot more than expected..I had hoped that someone would make a few extra prototypes and send them to other hackers, I could use some testing/feedback/code contributions .. if you or anyone else feel you're up for it, please let me know.
