3Enable energy harvesting
The default option for energy harvesting is "on demand", so you need to change it to "forced after boot" to get the card to light up whenever it is read. To do this with the Android app, go to the menu and open "Register Management". EH_Mode is the third register, change the value to 00 and click the disc in the upper corner to save it to the device. It will prompt you for the configuration password which is all zeros by default, so just click OK.

4Add a vcard with your contact information
From the main window in the Android app, switch to the NDEF tab, then click the add button in the lower right corner to create a new record. When the dialog comes up asking what type of record to create, select "Contact" and fill out the information requested (or import the information from your contacts). When all the information is entered, click the save button in the upper corner.
