Description

MIDI IN-OUT is an expansion module for Arduino. It provides two ports: MIDI IN and MIDI OUT, to be able to receive and transmit MIDI messages through serial connections.

The MIDI OUT is used for data transmission and it have to be connected to the Arduino TX port. While, the MIDI IN make possible to receive serial messages using the Arduino RX port.

Components

  • 1 × 6n137 Opto and Fiber Optic Semiconductors and ICs / Optocouplers and Optoisolators
  • 1 × 1N4148 Discrete Semiconductors / Diodes and Rectifiers
  • 3 × 220 Ohm resistor
  • 1 × 470 Ohm resistor
  • 1 × 10k Ohm resistor
