Well I needed something that is more reliable than the old controller that was just a bare PCB, So far so good, It's way more reliable than the old controller but more tests are needed, And these cheap JH-D400X-R4 Joysticks are way better than the thumbsticks I had on the old controller.
About to add a flashing LED to the controller that will start flashing when the USV battery level goes below 15% very important if you want the USV to come back to you every time after a mission.
Hi, this looks great! I'm looking to make a controller of my own for an xy stage for a microscope, and I one of those exact joysticks (JH-D400x-R4). I cannot find documentation on how to hook it up, did you find any documentation on them in the course of putting this together that would be helpful? Thanks, and once again, looking good!
