Las Vegas of my own!

Description

It is the souvenir of my two-month trip to the United States. When I went to Las Vegas to attend CES, I was so impressed of the beauty and splendid of Las Vegas. But the souvenir I saw in Las Vegas was unpretty and not enough to capture the beauty of Las Vegas. So I decided to make my own souvenir of Las Vegas. It's Las Vegas of my own.
I hope the people who saw this souvenir feel Las Vegas.

Details

It's my first gear work for participating 3D Printed Gears, Pullys, and Cams Contest. It looks very easy I know. But to design and modelling was so difficult to me.

If you turn the right handle, all the gears turn. The running man at front doesn't move. The things that move are background surrounding running man. So as you turn handle, you can see the man traveling the Las Vegas!

There is making process below.

I want someone who makes this feel the Las Vegas or remember the memory of trip to Las Vegas :D

1 × Marker It isn't necessary. If you want to make colorful souvenir, you have to use it!

Print all the files with 3D printer

All the files except <main wheel> are printed only once. And main wheel needs to print twice.

Paint it with your own color!

I painted <LAS VEGAS SIGN>, <FERRIS>, <HOTEL>. It's because my PLA color was colorful. It's up to you whether paint or not!

Assemble it and stick with glue-gun!

You first assemble the <BASE_SUPPORT> , <HANDLE>, and<HANDLE_GEAR>.
Then with <HANDLE_GEAR> and <BIG_GEAR> fitted, stick the <COLUMN> to <BASE_SUPPORT> with glue-gun. Then fit the <SMALL_GEAR> on top of <BIG_GEAR>
Then place the man, ferris, Las Vegas sign, hotel, and sprout as you want!
Very easy but pretty!
