It was designed to replace the obsolete LM3909 in the Pink Floyd "Pulse" album packaging.
It also extended the battery life from 6 months to several years.
Single cell LED flasher
Design from "Pigeon's Nest" web page, modified to use a twin-transistor package. Not tested yet!
