I am running into issues and running out of time. I am running into a problem with the LPC804 and the deadline for getting boards manufactured is approaching. The processor at the heart of this version of the project will be my familiar PIC18F45K20.
I am unable to interface with my LPC804 with my J-link-2 debugger. The problem also occurs on my dev board which means that I did something to either the programmer or my workspace, and I am having issues narrowing it down any further. Moral of the story is do not try and develop on an 8 year old laptop that is held together with stickers and duct tape.
I received the board on Thursday night and proceed to do some basic testing. I ran into problems with some part sizing on the 10 pin header of the cap touch board. Next on the to-do list is to take the demo code from NXP and correct the pins in hardware. Fingers-crossed that I got the cap touch design correct.
The boards have shipped from PCBway through DHL. They should be arriving in the morning, where they will be assembled and tested. Expect an update log by Saturday 01/11/2020.
These boards are to test my designs for the capacitive touch and the flush mounted LEDs
