I've been working on this project for one year as a hobby project. The Metalhead Dog is a robot dog from the Black Mirror series S04E05."Metalhead" is filmed entirely in black and white, and follows the plight of Bella (Maxine Peake) trying to flee from robotic "dogs" after the unexplained collapse of human society.

My initial goal was just to make It stand on It's feet and use some sensors like ultrasonic, gyro, pir, temperature and hummidity, but now I want more. I'm happy with the results until then and would be glad with opinions and tips about this project. Here is a video where I'm testing the leg motors:

  • 1 × Raspberry Pi V3 The brain of the system
  • 1 × Raspberry Pi Camera Module
  • 1 × Towerpro SG90 Servo Motor
  • 1 × PCA9685 Servo Motor Driver 16 Channel I2C
  • 1 × OLED Display 0.96" 128x64 I2C Battery level indicator

I always thought Bella had a pretty good chance of getting away, but then that army of dogs closing in on her sealed the deal.

Make sure you don't include the exploding tracer thingies.
