Dummy iDevice for 40-Pin Docks

Wooden dummy of a popular personal music player to put in your old 40-pin docking devices

Similar projects worth following
This is an InkScape SVG file for lasercutting a wooden dummy of a popular portable music player using the Ponoko lasercutting service. Once cut, the wooden dummy can be assembled with yellow wood glue. It is "useful" for those of us who still use powered speakers and alarm clocks with a 40-pin docking connector. The wooden dummy makes that empty docking port seem not-so-empty. RIP Steve.

I'd love a set of these for display purposes. I have a 3rd gen iPod which still works and sits in the living room hifi area, but I also like the gen1,2 and 4 designs as well as this later classic model.

Clever idea. Almost hard to believe how big the original iPod was.
