We developed robots in many shapes but dog, or quadruped robot. Dogs bring unique spiritual companionship to humans. Though easy to build a moderate structure, gait analysis and interact methods are big challenges. We want it vivid, physically and mentally.

8 coreless pwm motors may not make it  that flexible as the one which has 12 or more. But it's a start and we are quite surprised by PuppyPi's speed and balance performance after we optimize our own gait algorithm again and again.

Wild angle HD camera for first person vision. Interaction requires gathering information, process information and respond. Real-time picture identification rely on both hardware and software training. Luckily we have accumulated a wealth of experience. 

PuppyPi still is an ongoing program. There remain lots of innovation we come up with yet not realize. We will update and create this old dogs with some new tricks.

    So excited to announce that we are very close to market our first quadruped robot PuppyPi.

    We came through some really tough parts during R&D such as develop it in the ROS environment, balance the output of servos and the entire weight etc. And finally it is a well-trained Puppy in our eyes and we hope you'll like it. 

    I may publish another full project statement with all features, codes, and schematics etc. and share more details together with our key members. Before that, please allow me show you what the cool pup can do.

    Hey guys,

    Also a suitable radar is attached and we are working on coding of mapping and measuring function.
