First number...
09/29/2022 at 11:32 • 0 commentsWe managed to collect the first number. Unfortunately, there was not enough liquid for the rest of the numbers. A volume of 20 ml is enough for only one segment. At the same time, it is difficult to lift the remaining liquid from the bottom, so more than 20 ml is needed. That would remain a sufficiently high layer of magnetic fluid. Current consumption is about 2 amps per digit at 100% PWM. In the following experiments, I will try to reduce power consumption by reducing the PWM to 50% when hitting the drop in place, since it takes less power to hold the drop than to lift it.
