stl files for new core unit
05/03/2022 at 08:20 • 0 commentsif you want to test the new core unit, I've put the stl files on my gdrive:

Important note:
The mount plate V2 is not compatible with the version 1 of the scanner. I've added a compatible version.
I've used PETG for the mount plate and PLA for the rest - all printed with a 0.4mm nozzle.

first go on the case for the 5 inch display
04/25/2022 at 04:22 • 0 commentsthe front case needed complete redesign to make space for a larger 5 inch HDMI display.
the buttons are now below the display. The cover is printed in one piece, including the buttons. Only a color change was done after the first three layers.

new PCB design
04/25/2022 at 04:10 • 0 commentsIn order to provide cooling to the Raspberry Pi 4, the new design has space for a cpu cooling fan. The GPIO assignment is new - so it is not compatible with the software of the original scanner.
It also includes now a switch to toggle between S8 and R8.
