The Positive side of the batter should be facing up when placed in the battery holder.

Unpack your Kit:

1 - Battery Holder

1 - CR2032 Battery

1 - 3mm Red LED

1 - 470 ohm Resistor

1 - Binder Ring

1 - Heart

Place the LED through the holes.  We suggest putting the Long leg through the top hole and the short leg through the bottom hole.  Once the LED is through the board, bend the legs.  Wrap one leg of the resistor around the long leg of the LED.  Then fold the LED leg in half to secure.

Pull the insulation off the end of the wires.  You should see a cut in the insulation, pull from there to expose wires.

Wrap the red wire on the battery holder around the other leg of the resistor. Then fold in half to secure.  Wrap the black wire of the battery holder around the short leg of the LED. Bend in half to secure. (Optional step is to cut off excess wire with wire cutters)

Bend the resistor and place in the holes. Once the resistor is through the board bend the legs. Place the LED in the holes on the right.  Follow the + and - symbols on the circuit.  The long LED leg should go through the top and the short leg should go through the bottom.

Twit together one leg of the resistor to the long leg of the LED.  Once twisted together fold in half to secure.
