This is a circuit sculpture made from walnut, brass rod and an arduino. The idea is to have a device to tell you the temperature of the room that isn't an eye sore to keep in a visible place. i have mine next to my TV in my living room.

Very nice looking -- not exactly like the usual circuit sculpture, but shares some elements. Love the look of the block of walnut -- makes everything feel so much more substantial than just flying leads. Nice work!

Thanks! This is my first one so I was just kind of winging it. I had a bunch of walnut left over from another project, and walnut basically makes everything look good so there ya go. It does go particularly well with brass I think
