My speedo project needs another PCB, and I thought to myself... I really can do with a proper UV exposure box or something... Low and behold the beginning of this project.
I had this old aluminium flight case toll box thing from an old dremmel I had when I was a kid.
This project is almost entirely made out of scrap bits. (apart from the lights themselves obviously)
I've even reclaimed some wood destined to be kindling for our fire.
I also broken apart an old Dell monitor from 2003 to get the light defuse filters out to make a better light spread on the back light.
The unit will have a standard backlight Lightbox for lining up PCB layer transfers. (and photographs maybe...) While the inside of the lid will have the UV exposure.
The idea to close the lid and turn on to protect the eyes while exposing.
I wasn't originally going to post this on here but instead put it as part of my speedo project. but I thought why the hell not...
Bit of an update... been putting it together. Still a fair bit to do but its wired up and most of the parts glued in. Still need to cut the perspex a to fit the frame... Anyway heres a vid
