Description

This is the third version of the AxxSolder.
AxxSolder 3 is a STM32 based soldering iron controller for JBC C115, C210 and C245 cartridges.

The soldering takes a DC input source of 9-24V OR a USB-C Power Delivery source. AxxSolder powers C115 cartridges with 22 W, C210 with 65 W and C245 cartridges with 130 W. The power limiting is automatic as AxxSolder detects which cartridge is inserted. In case of powering AxxxSolder via USB PD AxxSolder reads the power capability of the USB PD source and limits the output power accordingly. The software is written for the STM32G431CBT6 and implements a PID for temperature control, TFT display driver, USB PD negotiation, sleep functions when the handle is in the stand and functions to read/write user settings to flash to name a few. Enclosures for both station and portable versions are 3D printed and design files are available on the GitHub page. https://github.com/AxxAxx/AxxSolder
