Robot Hand Journey

Got a Leap Motion and started learning how to program with the SDK.

After a long time without any robotic hand projects in my life, it's time to go big again. Got some smart servos for the occasion.

Made a lightweight 3D printed version of it, and got a chance to have it printed using SLS.
I was so happy with it at the time.

After going too big and overcomplicated, let’s go small and simple. One motor, some small chains.

Getting a bit lost with some crappy designs that never had a chance to work.

Okay, this was looking like it was out of a bad horror movie, but I was still happy with it at the time.

It was way too heavy, but the look was dope.

Metal is not as fast or easy as 3D printing (at least with the tools I had back then).

Some time has passed, new small and cheap servos are appearing, and I think I got inspired by Terminator a bit too much. Time for a new version.
