A somewhat unique macropad design that emphasizes simplicity for the user. Powered by an nRF52840 microcontroller it operates as a bluetooth peripheral, but can also be operated wired. Can be battery powered with a standard 18650 lithium cell and the battery can be charged over USB.
Keys are registered by an I/O expander and does not use a switch matrix, which has many advantages.
When the keyboard is inactive, total power draw is less than 5uA.
This project will be updated as I prototype the boards and write the firmware.
