The Meowchware Arc Choker uses a high-voltage inverter arc generator to produce gap-spanning electrical discharges. Besides looking super cool, it can serve as a warning to potential threats to steer clear.
The arc generator and battery, as well as the control circuitry will be mounted directly to the choker to eliminate wires. The arc frequency and intensity will be controlled by a secondary wearable that incorporates a panic switch. Control can be linked to pulse rate with a simple pulse sensor embedded in the choker itself.
There also exists the possibility of making it bluetooth controllable, making interesting and unique patterns with a phone app.
Contact with electrodes can deliver a shock that can range from a tickle to 1000 kV, determined by varying input voltage. The electrodes can be sequenced or specified.
