DAQnx is a modular instrumentation platform built around one controller slot and three application slots. It combines embedded Linux, USB control, a programmable timing/trigger/synchronization fabric, and swappable acquisition, RF, FPGA, and I/O modules in one chassis. I built it after years of watching engineers and researchers spend too much time integrating closed, expensive instruments instead of running experiments.
