Type any airport's four-letter ICAO code on an NES controller, hit Start, and the aircraft flying near that airport right now show up as moving blips on your CRT. Works anywhere on Earth. Point it at your local strip, or dial in KLAX and watch it get busy.

This is a proof of concept for 9600-baud bidirectional communication over the controller port. The NES has no internet connection of its own, so a small server on a nearby computer pulls live ADS-B traffic from adsb.fi and bit-bangs it down the controller cable. The NES plots it and sends the airport code back up the same wire.
