### Project Overview
An industrial-grade control module designed for reliable operation, load management, and asynchronous communication in noisy industrial environments. The device is powered by an STM32F103 microcontroller and features a fully galvanic-isolated RS-485 interface to prevent ground loops and shield internal digital logic.

The hardware is fully completed and routed on a high-density 4-layer PCB using Altium Designer.

### Technical Specifications
* **Core MCU:** STMicroelectronics STM32F103C8T6 (ARM Cortex-M3, 72 MHz)
* **Bus Interface:** Fully isolated RS-485 via ADM2587EBRWZ (integrated signal and power galvanic isolation).
* **Dual-Stage Power Supply Architecture:**
  1. *Stage 1 (High Efficiency Buck):* LM2596S-5.0 switching regulator drops variable input industrial voltage down to a stable 5.0V.
  2. *Stage 2 (Ultra-Low Noise LDO):* AMS1117-3.3 linear regulator delivers clean 3.3V power to the ARM MCU core.
* **PCB Stackup:** 4 Layers (Top/Signal - Layer 2/GND - Layer 3/Power - Bottom/Signal)
* **Component Size:** SMD down to 0603 size.

### 4-Layer Layout & Hardware Isolation Strategy
* **Galvanic Isolation Barrier:** A strict 8mm isolation gap (keep-out zone) is maintained across all 4 layers directly beneath the ADM2587E transceiver. No copper planes, vias, or traces cross this boundary.
* **Split Ground Planes:** Rigid physical separation between the noisy power ground (GND_Power) and sensitive digital/signal ground (GND_Digital) on Layer 2 to block high-current switching noise.
* **EMI & Power Integrity:** Layer 2 acts as a solid, unbroken ground plane to provide a low-impedance return path for high-frequency MCU clock lines and switching nodes.
