Feed data from the OCEARH Shark tracker will be obtained and parsed via smartphone application with smartphone supplying GPS location to pinpoint geographic area of interest. User controls in app will allow for determining radius of interest and time interval (how long ago a shark in the area is of importance to the wearer.)
Smartphone will transmit data to wristband with a default 10 minute refresh interval (user customize-able)
Wristband will vibrate and display "SHARK" when a shark is detected in the predefined radius of the user.
Application and wristband can also be configured to match Shark proximity data with current weather forecast and alert user when waterspouts are forecast in the same location as tracked sharks.
No updates since 2014. Guess it didn't work.
