10/09/2017 at 16:22 • 0 commentsIf is not possible to fix your wheelchair wheel, or you don't find some replacement part for the wheels, using the toowheels hub's project you can create an hub for every kind of wheel (different diameters, numbers of spokes, size, etc..) with only some pipes and recycled bearings. Follow the instruction on the website or at hackaday project page!

Fablab Yachay Ecuador
09/28/2017 at 16:34 • 0 commentsThanks to the "fablab replication grant" of the FABLAB FOUNDATION, we set up a workshop with the fablab of Yachay in Ecuador, teaching the local community how the Toowheels design works and following them step by step in a mentoring program. This video shows the result of the team-work, and we hope the beginning of new workshops that teach local people how to built a wheelchair!
