Economic Prosthetic Hand

Participate to improve the life of amputees. Low-cost prosthetic hand. Try to give some "feelings" with vibration.

I have printed the prosthetic hand « Flexy Hand 2 » to improve it. I would like to add different sensors on the hand to control it in a more.. way. These would include pressure and temperature sensors to provide further feedback and, for example, prevent from burning yourself with coffee. The main mechanism for this process is connecting the different sensors to an Arduino which would be on  the back of the prosthetic hand. Adding LEDs to visualise the information gathered from sensors and provide tacticle feedback through the use of vibrations. This project is OpenSource to anyone.

Will be interesting to see what sensors you are going with and how you incorporate them. A real challenge!
